Dear Husband:

With great pleasure I now try to write you a few lines in answer to your kind letter which we recieved today.

My your photo is sure fine.  I think I have to go to England to have mine taken.  I'm afraid to try it here again.  I haven't seen your mother today.  We went to meeting and Isabelle wanted to stay to ?Grankid's? tonight.  Her and Hy are having a time, its hard to get away.  The boys all tease us to stay and it just suits Isabel.

Ma hasn't been feeling very well the last few days.

I seen Troy taking Deaon home with him.

We had pretty nice weather all week.

You wanted to know where Hebe DePriest lived, as agreed had a house built on the lower lot of President Christensen.  They have been living there this fall.

Did you know that Chris ?Sigo's? sons had bought Mrs. Gilbert's place, and she is making her home with Anna.

Clint DePriest has bought one lot of Charlie King's, the one with the house on, and Hebe bought the lower lot. Kings are living at the shop.

I guess you will notice lost of changes when you get back.

What do you think?  I'm taking lessons in painting, painting on velvet, every Monday and Friday after noon.  I've taken two.  I want four more.  Anyway, it's easier than music, but I'm still pegging away .  That comes Thursday after noon, so don't you think I,m  keeping busy?

Isabel is well and feeling fine so I can leave her with Grandma.

Hage Harrison and family have come back.  I haven't seen her but he was out to meeting.  Some people certainly have gull.

The Free Press gives all about the elections.  I haven't got our this week.  I'll have to rusel one tomorrow.

Somebody else has showed up Frank Brady and a Rasmussen girl were married about the time the other couples went to Salt Lake.  They now have a boy that beats any thing that's happened for sometime.  I understand its the girl Archie Smith went with.

I didn't  tell you that Alma Christensen had to old Thomas place when I was telling you other people were moving around.

I cannot think of any more to write  and as it is getting late, I will bring my letter to a close, trusting it will find you well and enjoy your labors as a missionary.   If we can only keep well this winter I know I can, but I'm anxious about the baby if she can only keep well and get strong and healthy and you keep well.  I'll be so thankful.

With love and best wishes,

From your loving wife and baby

Our new school house is going up fast.  Think they expect to move in it when school starts, after the Christmas holidays.

Sam and Will have the foundations laid for their granarys.

It looks like we are going to have a nice warm day, although it was very cold last night.

I don not know of anything I could write to help you and you're so far away we cannot do anything to help  only pray for you.  We will remember you in our prayers for we certainly desire that you enjoy the best of health so you will be able to fulfill you mission and return home safely.

With love and best wishes,
From your wife and baby.
